Going to Therapy Alone Can Help Your Marriage as Much as Couples Counseling

Kristen Chase has found herself going to personal therapy in addition to marriage counseling sporadically, usually for extra support during difficult times, but has noticed each time how helpful the additional personal therapy is in every aspect of her life, including marriage. One way in which personal therapy helped with marriage was being able to talk about marriage issues with a neutral party. While it may be nice to talk with friends, your friends will tend to have some level of bias towards you in the matter. A therapist will not have that bias and their lack of bias won’t threaten your friendship.
