The plan begins with reflection, both on the bills and expenses of the holiday season and also on the holiday expectations of your family. It’s possible that your family doesn’t actually need you to fulfill all of the expectations for the holidays that you think. The perfect holiday doesn’t exist, so it may not be worth the stress trying to create one each year.
