Nancy Lang believes that relationships should be a part of a person’s education, right along with biology, algebra, woodshop, automotive technology, and whatever else kids are learning these days. Not only that, relationship education should be a part of continuing education, according to Land, so that we as adults don’t get rusty on the subject. In the spirit of providing some of that education, Land has provided examples of four things that will kill a relationship D.E.A.D. Those things are Disrespect, Expectations, A Lack of Communication, and Downright Neglect. Beginning with the first, disrespect, it is important to realize there are many ways we can casually disrespect our partners without even realizing it.
